About the shop
Facets is the sort of jeweller East London used to have on every high street: a small independent shop with its name in gold above the window, where you can hand a broken chain or a stopped watch straight to the person who’ll fix it.
No chain, no call centre, no posting your gold away. Just an honest counter on Barking Road that repairs, buys and sells — and, going by the reviews, sends you somewhere else if the job’s not one for them.

It depends on the job, and gold prices move day to day, so there’s no fixed price list. Customers regularly mention good value — one paid far less for a gold chain repair than a nearby chain quoted. The honest answer is to ask in the shop or call 020 8472 1206 and we’ll tell you before any work starts.
Bring the gold in and you’ll get a price over the counter. As the notice in the window says, when selling gold you’ll need photo ID with you, so remember to bring some.
